Salary: Circa £46,000 plus excellent non salaried benefits

We’re looking for an ambitious and strategic Learning & Organisational Development Manager to lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of impactful learning, development, and OD strategies across our clients organisation. 

You’ll drive initiatives that build leadership capability, embed a high-performance culture, and enhance employee engagement, retention, and organisational effectiveness. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with the opportunity to shape the way they develop their people and organisation-wide capability. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement a Group-wide Learning & Development strategy, managing the training budget efficiently. 
  • Design and deliver leadership and management development programmes, promoting inclusive leadership and EDI principles. 
  • Oversee induction, mandatory training, CPD, and the apprenticeship levy to ensure effective, value-for-money learning solutions. 
  • Commission and manage external learning providers to deliver quality outcomes on time and budget. 
  • Implement digital learning platforms and blended learning solutions with accurate reporting. 
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, analysis, and action plans. 
  • Design talent management and succession planning frameworks to support organisational effectiveness. 
  • Collaborate with senior leaders on change management and transformation initiatives. 
  • Use workforce analytics and diagnostic tools to inform OD interventions. 
  • Develop metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure the impact of learning and OD initiatives. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing L&D and OD strategies in complex organisations. 
  • Strong project management, influencing, and presentation skills. 
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven, outcomes-focused approach. 
  • Expertise in leadership development, engagement initiatives, and organisational change. 
  • Ability to manage budgets and external providers effectively. 
  • Knowledge of digital learning platforms, workforce analytics, and talent management. 
  • CIPD Level 5+ or equivalent OD/L&D qualification, or equivalent experience. 
  • Accredited in diagnostic tools (e.g., MBTI, Insights, 360 feedback) desirable.
